Primary Consultant: Lisa P. Weeth, BS, DVM, DACVN
Dr. Weeth is an alumnus of the University of California (UC), Davis, three times over. She first graduated from UC Davis in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Evolution & Ecology and then in 2002 was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from that same institution.
After two years as a General Practice and Emergency veterinarian in the San Francisco Bay Area, she returned to UC Davis once again in 2004, where she completed a 3-year residency in Small Animal Clinical Nutrition. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (ACVN) in 2007 and moved to New Jersey that same year to establish the first dedicated Clinical Nutrition Department in a private veterinary hospital.
A family move to the United Kingdom prompted her to leave the hospital setting in 2014 and established Weeth Nutrition Services in order to continue to share her her nutrition expertise with veterinarians and their patients around the world. In 2016 she relocated with her family once again and is pleased to offer nutrition counseling to caregivers in Los Angeles, CA.
